Fermanagh: Autumn’s Cobalt and Grace
My first glimpse of Fermanagh’s landscape marked a turning point in my artistic journey. Autumn’s crisp air carried the scent of damp earth, while golden light played across the countryside lake. Reaching for acrylic for the first time, I was captivated by the vivid cobalt blue of a cottage roof, its bold serenity anchoring the scene amid a tapestry of russet and emerald.
Graceful swans glided across the water; their reflections suspended between sky and earth. Cool blues and warm autumn hues mingled in each brushstroke, echoing the delicate balance of stillness and change. Through this painting, I sought to capture both the visual splendor of Fermanagh and the quiet wonder of embracing new artistic possibilities.
