Home for the Holidays

This year, as part of “Home for the Holidays 2023,” I brought to canvas a lantern adorned with a bough of holly, its crimson berries gleaming against deep green leaves—a symbol of hope and hearth. At its side, a gentle reindeer stands sentinel, antlers crowned with winter’s grace and eyes softly aglow, guiding all wanderers back to the warmth of home. The lantern’s golden light spills onto snowy paths, illuminating the way for loved ones to return, its glow a beacon through December’s long nights. With each brushstroke, I endeavored to capture not just the season’s festivity, but the spirit of reunion, a reminder that, wherever we roam, there is always a guiding light leading us back to those we cherish most.
